The Cars have a few hits compilations out, but this one is by far the best. It's got several great songs that the others don't have, like my favorite Cars tune, Bye Bye Love. If you're wanting all their hits or you're just wanting to get started listening to The Cars, this is the best place to start. If you want to check out one of their studio albums, I'd reccomend starting with their first, self-titled one.
There isn't much that is missing in this collection. Sure there are lots of hits discs, but they all are missing some serious contenders. There are a couple of songs that I liked that aren't here, but they wouldn't be considered as Hits by most people. This is in mark contrast to several other bands, like the Rolling Stones or even Blondie, where there doesn't appear to be a real definitive greatest hits. I'm getting off point, but wanted to point out that this isn't standard, so some kudos go to the people behind this collection.If you aren't into the cars then you should look elsewhere. If you enjoy the Cars sometimes, then this disc will give you everything you will probably ever want without having to grab any more discs.

I bought this for my husband who is a huge Cars fan and he hasn't stopped listening to it since I bought it for him. Fast shipping.
BUT HAY. IT IS PERFECT. Unlike all the other "HITS cd's", on the market ( NOW A DAYS ) this band and album does not fail to please everybody. There's no room on the cd for them. Length and song selection is good. Some people may be upset that 2 minor hits where left off ( HEART BEAT CITY and STRAP ME IN ). ALL THE BIG HITS ARE THERE. Really, this is maybe the GREATEST 80's MUSIC HITS ALBUM out.This is really the best money spent ever on a great "SUMMER.DESERT ISLAND cd".
